Motivation:
Submission process was very smooth. It took a few weeks to get attached to an associate editor, then around 3 months to find two reviewers. Then, first round's report took about 1.5 month, letting us around 1 month to provide an answer, then 2 months of review followed before we got their answer. Upon positive answer from the associate editor, we had to perform minor changes that took a few weeks to get cross-validated with one of the reviewers. Overall, the experience was smooth and quite enjoyable. The reports were very detailed (~5 pages) and understandable, which helped a lot improving the manuscript. We appreciated that the reviewers took our answers in consideration as well.
