Aims and Scope

JNIRS—Journal of Near Infrared Spectroscopy is a peer review journal which aims to publish original research papers, short communications, review articles and letters concerned with near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy and technology, its application, new instrumentation and the use of chemometric and data handling techniques within NIR. JNIRS will accept contributions from all areas of applications where near infrared spectroscopy is in use.

Motivation:
The Editor's as well as the Reviewer's comments were very helpful and constructive-minded, they helped to further improve the quality of the paper. In my opinion, the first review round took relatively long, but after that, everything went fine and quickly.
