Motivation:
The review process of this journal was extremely disappointing. We waited over eight months with the status stuck at “evaluating recommendation”. After two more months and many reminder emails, we requested withdrawal. Only then did the journal release three reviews—none negative, mainly asking for revisions—yet still issued a rejection. This was the most unprofessional experience I have had with a journal.
