Motivation:
there were no positives really. Manuscript was sent to two reviewers, the journal rejected it after the first review came in, so they did not even give it a fair chance of review. Not to mention that the first review could have been from a journal editor, so there is no way of telling. it was frustrating indeed. would not submit any work there in the future.

Motivation:
Did take quite long for receiving the review, but after asking the editor about the status, he responded quickly that it takes some time because they search for reviewers that are willing to actually have a look at the software and not just the paper. After the review, the process was very quick.
