Motivation:
Submitted manuscript within the same scope of the journal and similar prior researches but editor just silently sat on it for 4 months without any response. Contacted editorial office and said they will reach out to the editor (which is just being silent for another month without any response). They could have just said that they are having trouble finding reviewers but instead decided to be out right unprofessional and disrespecting other people works.
