Motivation:
The review process was very slow and frustrating here, and required frequent outreach from us to move things along. It took 18 months after addressing minor revisions for our manuscript to be accepted. To be fair, I know that 9 months after we submitted the revision we got a new editor. But we couldn't understand why it took another 9 months for the new editor to see that we had addressed the minor revisions and it was suitable for publication. When we emailed for updates the reply was always that they could provide no estimates of how much longer it would take. In the end it was accepted which we appreciated. I would not submit here again unless I'd heard they had changed their editorial process.

Motivation:
After 8 months without identifying reviewers for the paper I decided to withdraw it. Funny how it literally took them 5 minutes from the email I sent (asking to withdraw the paper) to them validating the withdrawal.
Such a loss of time but that's what you get from these mediocre journals. Resubmitted elsewhere.

Motivation:
The review process was incredibly slow. Three months after we submitted we asked the editor for an update, and it took four more months to get an extremely short 'minor revisions' review (it was so short and trivial they could have just accepted it conditional on us making a few word changes). Then despite multiple follow-ups from us, it took a year and a half after submitting the minor revisions for it to be accepted. They mentioned the journal was going through transitions, but since the revisions were trivial (not even needing the reviewer to look at them again) we didn't understand the delay.

Motivation:
Six months after submission, I emailed the editorial office to enquire about the status of my paper. The contact person claimed she emailed a reviewer and never heard from them. I wanted to withdraw my paper. But she encouraged me to wait because she assigned a new reviewer. After almost 2 months, I get an email saying "Further to a discussion with the editors your article has been declined for publication." No reviewer reports whatsover. So I have no idea how many reviewers reviewed the paper. I have no idea what their comments were. Absolutely horrible experience. I will never encourage anyone to submit their paper to this journal.
