Rejected
2025
Motivation:
Getting rejected after R&R is always painful. This one was particularly painful as one of the reviewers simply stated that the changes were "not sufficient", and the other one was annoyed because they could not find the response letter in the system (in their perspective it "was not provided"). I understand that the editor does not want to decide against two negative evaluations, but it does feel like wasted time and effort for everyone this way.

Motivation:
The editors took care to inform about the process, e.g. when the paper had been sent out to reviewers and the expected time frame. The editors also provided helpful comments in how to address the reviewers' comments so as to keep in line with the purposes of the journal.

Motivation:
I have received decently useful comments in a reasonable time. Fast online publication before print. However, it may takes up to a year or more before the final version is published.
