One reviewer was specifically asking to add more information regarding a topic which is not the focus of my manuscript. We added some information concisely and after all the modifications, the manuscript was lengthened by more than 3000 words. Still, the reviewer felt the changes were cosmetic.

Motivation:
The journal has a good reputation and they processed my paper so fast. the review process was excellent and transparent. paper improved lot after revision. the paper got accepted within less than 2 months.

It should be faster to consider, whether the manuscript would be of interest for journal readers. When writing an e-mail to editors directly from the submission system (asking why the manuscript is still with the editor after 4 weeks), I obtained no response.
