Aims and Scope

Pediatric Diabetes is a bi-monthly journal devoted to new knowledge of epidemiology, etiology, pathogenesis, treatment, complications and prevention of diabetes in childhood and adolescence. Papers are considered on the rigor of the scientific approach, novelty, and importance for understanding mechanisms involved in the epidemiology and etiology of this disease, especially its molecular, biochemical and physiological aspects. Work relating to clinical management and outcome of diabetes including physical and emotional sequelae, in vitro studies on animal/human tissue,and clinical studies in animals or humans are considered.We publish papers, preliminary communications and reviews of major topics. Our aim is to become a leader in disseminating new information about childhood diabetes.
